    Dell 2407 temperatures

Since summer is in full swing, my room has become unbearably hot. I think, in fact, I know for a fact that my monitor is putting out the majority of the heat. It's hot right above the monitor.

Does anyone else with the same monitor experience the same and have a solution?

I have the same monitor and it puts out some heat, but nothing crazy. If anything my PC feels like it gives off more heat.

I had two CRTs before though so many it just seems like less in comparison.

    Solution? AC, Swamp cooler, fan?

PS: this sentence cracks me up. "I think, in fact, I know for a fact that my monitor is putting out the majority of the heat."

Reminds me of a conference I went to the speaker asked if we new how many computers we had at our onsite locations exactly. I raised my hand with a few others. He said oh really how many do you have. I said "about sixty" realized my mistake as the words were coming out of my mouth

Do you have enough air circulation and space in that room? I noticed that having two windows or a door open usually helps to keep the temps much lower as well. sitting in a closed room in the summer is just wrong. get outside

I notice that my 2405 radiates a bit of warm heat from the actual screen. I sit close enough, that I can actually feel the warmth on my face in the wintertime. (about 1.5 feet away)
