Jeanne d'Arc, PSP Fire Emblem clone very good.
I really enjoyed the Fire Emblem series on the GBA so no surprise here. The coolest feature is that you can switch your skill stones around to whoever you want before and after battles. No more wishing you had made someone a tank instead of a ranged guy or vise versa.

Demetrius I of Macedon was offended when the Spartans sent his court a single envoy, and exclaimed angrily, "What! Have the Lacedaemonians sent no more than one ambassador?" The Spartan responded, "Aye, one ambassador to one king."

I think it plays more like FF Tactics than FireEmblem.
Am I alone in thinking that?

I agree with you, its definitely more of a traditional SRPG than a Fire Emblem-type game.

Well the gameplay is certainly similar then.

Some of the mechanics are great, some are dreadful. Also, the strikeback rate is waaaaaay too high. I think they just accidentally put it in instead of evade. Strikeback should be a special ability, not a given.
I'm still waiting for another well-polished "arcade-sRPG" like FFTA. I hate to admit it, but that was my favorite sRPG ever. I'll give FFT and Disgaea for PSP a chance, but I'm sure both will take too long to get into.

Which ones are dreadfull? I really like the fact you can skip the animations and cutscenes. It really bugs me when a game makes you watch them more then once. Here's hoping the new Warhammer game is up to this standard.

I got mine off craigslist for 90 bucks with two memory cards. It's used of course but for more then half off retail? I couldn't pass that deal up. No dead pixels and an excellent screen as well.
