    Darwinia is sub $2, or close enough that I don't remember exactly. Picked that up a few weeks ago when they were having this same sale. Picked up Culpa Innata, The Ship, and Counterstrike: Source back then, and Stalker, FEAR: Extraction Point, Sword of the Stars, Heroes of Might and Magic 5, and the Prey Collector's edition today.

    All that crap for under about $50 or $60 total. Probably take back HoMM 5 and Sword of the Stars, though, they seem like good games but I just don't see myself making time to play them with all else on my plate.

    ::edit::
    Also, if you happen to find a copy of The Invisible War, it's only 25 cents. Can't go wrong at that price.

    Man, going through that list and seeing how many games I own that i paid $20-$50 for, could of saved soooo much cash if I waited till now to buy em all.

    Still gonna have to stay away from CC, if I walk in I know Im walking out with like 10 games i dont need and will prolly never get around to playing.

    That's what I thought at first, but I ended up going in and grabbing a bunch of stuff anyway. Maybe buying and having a bunch of slightly older games on my shelf will talk me out of that new video card. $50 on games I don't really need right now is better than $250 on a vid card I don't really need right now.

    Any idea how long these deals will go? Or is it just until all inventory is gone?

    All the stuff is naturally under $20; the 50% off everything $19.99 and less is a standard weekly ad. They had this same sale about two weeks ago, and I guess it was successful enough for them to bring it back.

    anything with an irregular price is discontinued and is not likely to be in stock, but it's cool to check. when i worked there, i remember someone buying an HL2 collectors edition thing with a tshirt for like $8 after it just sat there untagged for months. software at those stores tends to be really disorganized, and like many things, old stock can sit there forever as it's price dwindles endlessly in the computer. i remember selling a bunch of lithium camera batteries for like two dollars a piece one day.

    This particular 50% off sale runs through saturday. Again, don't be fooled by what's on the box. CC is notorious for not retagging lower prices. For example, STALKER was tagged at $39.99 yet rang up $10; The Ship @ $19.99 but rang up $2.10. Don't be afraid to grab a stack of stuff and have them price check it. CC sucks, so take advantage of 'em.

    That sucks, I was just there this afternoon. There was no sign that there was a sale at all. I guess I'll stop by there again tomorrow on lunch break.
