Post Can't access shared folder in Win2k

Just wondering if there's anything special I have to do to be able to see a shared folder in Win2k. I have File and print sharing enabled and the folder is shared. I can't read it from any machine on my local network! I get the message "You do not have permission to access the resource" Any help is appreciated.

If the client machines are 95, 98, or Me you need to create user accounts on the 2000 machine (with exactly the same user ID and password that they use to log on to the 95/98/Me machine). Actually, even if the clients are NT or 2000 you need to do this . . .

You'll probably need to set up permissions for the shared file.

make sure that you are actually typing in your admin password at the initial 2k prompt, not just closing it out.

Hey genius, you do have accounts created on the Win2K box for the username/password you log into the others with right???

Anyway, long time no post, what's up? I'm finally getting a cable modem!! Email man, I lost your address.
