Yea my bad. I forgot that each conference sends 2 wild cards, not just 1. Yea Cowboys can clinch with a win over Philly next week. Course TO will still ***** all week win or lose and theyll prolly lose in the first round again

But guess I shouldnt joke since the Packers threw away the last month of football and got themselves eliminated.

Cowboys and Eagles to decide it. Should be a good last game of the season, too bad they are playing in Philly.

Lions are going for perfection! 0-16!

I'm gonna buy the shirt to go along with my 2008 Preseason Champions shirt.

I completely forgot the Lions went 4-0 in the preseason. Thatll really stink to follow it with an 0-16 regular season.

If by "really stink" you mean "totally rule" then I agree with you entirely. Double perfection is hard to beat.

1-15 is just a typical Lions season. 0-16 is something special. Especially with a 4-0 preseason.

Sorry D... but your Lions are going 0-16 I think.

I actually want to see it happen... not because I have any special dislike for the Lions (I actually kinda like them... loveable losers) nor because I want to diss your team. Just because it'll be a cool 1st.

Now the real challenge is the "next" record... 0-4 in the preseason and 0-16 in the regular season. I somehow doubt that I'll ever see it. Mind you, I never thought that I'd see a 0-16 season... tho the 'Phins did have me thinking it last year!

If there is any hope for you though... you can look at how the 'Phins went from 1-15 last year to a playoff contender (lead in the AFC East right now actually). Don't ask me how that has happened. Though part of the credit has to go to Pennignton's rubber band of an arm...

    More Burress:

Burress was driving without insurance before crash

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Add this to the growing list of Plaxico Burress' problems: getting in a car crash and not having insurance on his nearly $140,000 Mercedes-Benz.

Compounding the Super Bowl star's defense, according to a document provided by the woman's attorney, is the fact his car insurance lapsed three days before the crash. A letter from Allstate says Burress neglected to pay his premiums.

Burress' attorney, Adam Swickle, declined comment.

Burress is still serving a team suspension for shooting himself Nov. 29 in a nightclub with an illegally carried handgun. Burress shot himself at the Latin Quarter when he accidentally pulled the trigger on the .40-caliber Glock that was in his pants after fumbling a drink.

Teammate Antonio Pierce took the 31-year-old who caught the winning pass in the Super Bowl to New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center for treatment.

Burress pleaded not guilty and was released on $100,000 bail. He is due back in court March 31.

He was placed on the team's suspended/non-football injury list, and the NFL Players Association filed a grievance. The union said the Giants violated the collective bargaining agreement when they placed Burress on that list, suspended him for the final four games of the regular season and fined him an additional week's salary for conduct detrimental to the team.
    Brilliant. What a smart guy.

    Even more Burress!

The New York Post, citing anonymous law enforcement sources, said a 9-mm handgun, a rifle and ammunition for three other guns -- a .380, a .45 and a .40, the same caliber of gun Burress accidentally shot himself with -- were seized during the execution of a search warrant at Burress' home in Totowa.
Also found in the search -- but not seized, since it was unconnected to any criminal allegations -- was a suitcase full of money.

So he has 6 guns, 1 of which wasnt registered and the 5 new ones found are "possibly" registered. Im gonna guess they arent. Then instead of using one of those newfangled "banks", he keeps his cash if a friggin suitcase.

I have no idea what this guy is thinking. He catches the game winning TD and thinks hes invincible. 6 most likely unregistered guns, crashing his $140k car, then not paying his premiums and losing his insurance. Seriously what would his premiums be on a car like that? $1000 every 6? Less?

Keeping a large amount of cash in the suitcase isn't a terrible idea in my opinion, for realz with the way things are now-a-days.
