New Toy: Sharp 32" 1080p LCD HDTV as monitor

So, I jumped on a deal to get a Sharp Aquos 32" 1080p LCD HDTV for $630 after shipping from the Egg. So far, I am using it for:
    • 32" 1920x1080 monitor for my gaming computer.
    • 1080p HDTV for my Xbox360
    • 1080p HDTV for my Western Digital Media Player

So far, so good. Calibrated it to the right brightness for my room, and I thought I'd upload a few pics.

My Desk Setup... computer underneath the desk, XBox360 to the right.

    Starting up my favorite game.

    More Left4Dead goodness

Playing some HD Content... Serenity in 720p

    XBox360 goodness.

I like your work/play enviroment too. Very smooth, relaxing and organized just the way I like my things. God some of us only dream we can afford a 32" 1080p Sharp LCD for our gaming computer.

nice monitors but I would personally get 2x 24" lcd monitors for that price. much more productive.

but then for the OP's use a single big screen is better for gaming/multimedia.

Thanks, guys. But you know, it's sort of a money trap. Because I'm learning quickly that my 8800GTS could do fine at 1680x1050 on medium-high detail, but this higher resolution is chewing through my video card. I don't think it is too far off until I need to upgrade to a new vid card. Any ideas?

i had a 32inch tv/monitor for my desktop... video games were amazing on the screen, but when it came to day-to-day stuff.. the monitor was too big for my desk and too close to my eyes.. put too much strain on them.... its like having a 52inch TV, and only sitting 4 feet away from the monitor... wayy to close...

so now i just use my 32inch LCD for my extra TV, and now i have 2x22inch monitors for my desktop (gaming isn't as fun, but still good)
