    I just took mine back before the 30 days ran out. The hissing was kinda annoying me anyway. This evga 295 does not have that problem. I do want to get the backplate though as the 295 gets up to 90C after being under load for a while!

    Also driver support (at least in windows 7) sucks for these cards once you do SLI. The only one I can run that doesn't crash is 185.2.

    Edit: Still just a little bit more to get over 20000 GPU in VANTAGE

    I got the backplate -- no card Gee, I just moved up to number 210

    Not gonna take any crowns, but here's an updated score w/ new video card. CPU's changed awhile ago since I last submitted scores.

    This was the only run I did, using catalyst 8.12 hotfix. Just went to ATI overdrive, maxed it, and went for it. I think I need a 3rd party util, it can go farther.

    CPU - Intel Q6700 @ 3.3Ghz
    Motherboard - Asus P5W DH Deluxe (330mhz FSB)
    RAM - 4GB G-SKill 6400 @ 330mhz CAS 4
    Video card - HIS IceQ4 Turbo 4870 1GB @ 790/1100

    Sorry. Missed that line, was copying the format from ewitte and forgot it. Updated it above.

    Oh, and remember on a 4870, it's GDDR5, so it's 4x the base mem speed....4400 not 2200.
