Still waiting for a driver that will allow me to post legal scores here lol. In fact in windows 7 the ONLY one that works at all is 185.2. Anyway vantage score almost to 21k now on the Graphics test : )

Nice score! PhysX on or off? What mobo and HSF you using with the new i7 920, if its an ASUS P6T Deluxe I've some settings you might find useful.
I'm 121st on Step-up plan for a 295 with eVGA
Did you notice lower GPU temps using the back-plate?
EDIT: are you using the eVGA Voltage Tuner?

Usually have PhysX on
p6t deluxe
backplate not installed yet. was about to do it with the i7 install but couldn't find the small screwdriver.
eVGA volate tuner 100% fan will not go over 1188mv
Nice side by side q9550 versus i7. The 9550 results are 100% tweaked but not anywhere near i7 max results My i7 will do 4Ghz with only 1.225v! BTW with much lower GPU settings as well and HT off (until I can control the heat better).

Vista with WHQL drivers that should eventually get approved. BTW what I like is all the minimum FPS readings are like 50% higher!

Usually have PhysX on PhysX must be off for legit post to ORB once we get some FM approved WHQL drivers.

**** WARNING WARNING you MUST have excellent cpu cooling ****
The following BIOS settings got me to 4.2Ghz, see recommendation below on how I got there.
C1E: disable
Hardware Prefetcher: disable
Adjacenct Cache: disable
Intel VT: disable
CPU TM: disable
Exceute Disable Bit: disable
Intel HT: Enable
Active Processore Cores: Enable
A20M : disable
Intel Speed Step: Enable ( *Turbo On Multiple @ 21)
Intel Turbo Mode: Enable ( *Turbo On Multiple @ 21)
Intel C-STATE: disable
Set your memory timings to those recommended by maker and Vdimm to 1.65
CPU Ratio Setting: Auto
BCLK: 200Mhz
PCIE: 100Mhz
DRAM: 1600Mhz (I'm using DDR3 1600 ram, your's may be different)
Vcore: 1.45V
CPU Pll: auto
QPI/DRAM: auto
IOH: auto
IOH PCIE: auto
ICH: auto
ICH PCIE: auto
DRAM Bus: 1.64V
Load-Line Calibration: Enable
CPU Clock Skew: auto
CPU Spread Spectum: Disable
IOH Clock Skew: auto
PCIE Spread Spectum: Disable
Bump up Vcore one notch from stock (1.08) and set Bclk to 140. Boot and make sure you're stable (Prime95??? or your app of choice). Keep cpu temp at or below 74c. Then slowly move up to 4.2Ghz by bumping Bclk 10Mhz at a time up to 180, then by 5Mhz to 200, booting after each bump and checking stability. For each bump in Bclk bump Vcore two notches up to 1.45. Check DRAM Freq at each bump in Bclk to be sure you are at or below max freq for your memory.

I haven't even attempted a legit score as beta drivers will never get certified I do have Vista installed now so maybe a run there. BTW temps are a PITA even at 1.085v and HT off its 79C right now at 13 hours prime. My 1.085v settings are 3.6Ghz. Doing serious work on the air flow to keep the 295 air off the CPU over the weekend. That alone added 10C to my q9550. I can however get some decent single threaded overclocks

You need a TRUE and a couple 120mm fans
Two Antec fans: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835209006 selectable speeds, quiet when not OCing, 79CFM when OCing.

Just pointing the top 120mm down and adding another at the top dropped me 10C. I'll probably be able to get another 10C. I doubt I will spend much to upgrade the air cooling because I'm looking at H2O again
