That's me pretty much although to be fair the Orks are considerably more numerous than the Daemonhunters. I wasn't that interested in how the units looked just the actual game itself so aside from a few of the vehicles and high ranking characters most units were either unpainted or just basic.

I started my assembly line of painting my ork squads. I am painting 17 at once right now. I had a problem with the primer I was using (armory black.) It fuzzed up really bad (was low humidity in the basement at room temp.) I assume it was a bad can or something. I am going to stick to the krylon fusion from now on. Had to scrub them down with a tooth brush to get the powdery residue off and then wash them. Just getting the mold lines off took a hour or more for all of them. I think it will take quite some time to get all of them painted. It is fun though.

They are correct to include the Grey Knights as they are Chapter 666 of the Adeptus Astartes, they are a proper chapter just as any other even though they are permanently attached to the Ordo Malleus and their origins are shrouded in secrecy. While they don't follow Codex Astartes particularly rigidly plenty of other chapters don't either.

Nothing like the gray horde! =)

Not quite, they did all have green undercoats at the very least...my strategy at the time was to mix very large numbers of the cheapest units possible who almost always would pull down some high point characters or bogged down the firepower from the other side plus a couple of high value units who could take down some of the bigger units on the other side.

Can't find the gd camera. I've been doing a lot of reading and slowly painting away at the 18 ork boyz. I've decided I am going to go with the Necrons and I got my brother wanting to play (he is actually playing some DoW right now.) He is going to buy the space marines from me and paint them like luna wolves. The lore is sooo cool

Eh Proxy a necron army before you go out and buy one.....
It could just be me but necrons are a bit of a 1 trick pony..

I was split between the necrons and the IG. I didn't want to be another guy that picked SMs and it seems that a lot of kids play nids. Chaos SMs look a bit complicated with their lineup of like 50 different troops plus the daemons. Tau look dumb and I don't like Eldar. So that left me with the IG and necrons. I choose necrons because their lore is sweet and I wouldn't have to paint 50,000 IG troops. Even though I do love me some tanks.

Eh Chaos isnt that bad......
You left out dark eldar =)
Necrons are supposed to be getting a new codex here someday, so when that happens hopefully they wont be as one sided...as of right now its can my warriors survive long enough for my monolith to kick everyone's ***...
And the opponents strategy is usually ignore the monolith and phase out the necrons

I like the concept of the Necrons but it's a shame there's very little background to them aside from within a couple of that twat C.S. Goto's books who shouldn't be allowed to write WH books. I guess the problem is GW have put themselves up against a wall with them as they're uber powerful yet never actually do anything...

How would this be written!? The main characters would be either silent machines or shrieking monsters.
