I saw on sportscenter that it would be 2 million to relocate the screen up higher.

Any of you have you fantasy teams set up? Lets see them! I will have mine in three days. It'll be the first time I've done a live draft any suggestions?

That looks like a solid setup Opstar as long as they all stay healthy. Some of your starters are really iffy when it comes to that aspect. Nice pickup on Percy Harvin. I'll be looking to steal Ray Rice in my league I hope I can pull it off in a late round.

I love Roy Williams opstar, but I'd never start him unless he proves himself. And Westbrook is probably the single biggest gamble in fantasy. Honestly your team seems really chancy unless you had one of the worst draft positions in your league.

I'm making my draft picks next weekend. Now that I'm dealing with limited income the $500 buy-in is really seeming steep so I gotta make sure I make the playoffs this year. Westbrook and Roy Williams both screwed me last year.

I don't play fantasy football, and westbrook had a declining year last year (too many touches at the beginning of the year as he is the kind of guy that wears down), but he did have 14 TDS...how could that have hurt your fantasy team?

On a real football note, I really hope Reid uses the backup running back more this year, he killed Westbrook last year by keeping in him games the Eagles where winning big and not using the other backs enough. The few times Buckhalter did get in a game he seemed to always make big plays too. Lashon Mccoy should get a lot of snaps as a rookie and has a very similiar skillset to westbrook while being a little bigger.

Look at his week by week stats:
    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/player...?playerId=3619

He didn't play in 2 games, had 1 three TD game, had 1 four TD game and had 3 two TD games. In 5 games he scored 13 touchdown and only scored ONE in the other 9.

So for 5 weeks out of 16 he was the stud he should be. Too bad for the other 9 weeks he was USELESS. And yet he's Westbrook, so you don't bench him.

I'll never draft him again. He's too unreliable.

ok that makes sense. I only have a little understanding of fantasy football. I do think him playing in only 13-14 games should be expected, thats just what he is. The rest of it was probably due to the Eagles line and lack of a fullback, they where horrible run blocking last year, so they threw a lot in the red zone where a lot of teams would have ran. This year they added Peters, Stacy Andrews and got Shawn Andrews back from injury, as well as adding Leonard Weaver at fullback. They should be much, much better in short yardage situations and should run more in the redzone, and Westbrook should score a few more rushing TDS. but who knows.

Weaver was a nice get for you guys; he racked up quite a few fans in his short time here. Did I hear he was working out at TE? That was his college position iirc.

Thing is, he's big but not really a true FB. He's fast for his size but not much of a blocker, and will stagnate if only used for short yardage downs.

Edit: is there a place to learn the nuances of fantasy football? I think I know the players well enough to get started, but I'm sure there's more to it than that.

I follow training camp pretty closely and this is what the word on Weaver is...good running fullback, very good receiver, great pass blocker, and average run blocker. Now average is light years ahead of what we have had the past few years, we have not had a real fullback since Ritchie in 2004. Not sure about him playing tight end, but it is possible. We only use a fullback for like 30% of the snaps and we are thin at tight end. I think he will get some snaps at halfback as well.Him and westbrook in together should be interesting because they are both excellent receivers and linebackers will have to cover at least one if not both of them.

As far as the running game goes I am very excited to get Peters and Andrews is coming back off injury. Both are absolutely devastating run blockers.

honestly r'aggro just join a couple random leagues at yahoo.com and have some fun with it. For your draft they will have preset a decent setup for who you want for your draft picks. You can play around with it and take out players you dont want and you can also put players in your custom draft order wherever you want them. The vast majority of fantasy football is luck, that is why it is so fun. Take for instance Brian Westbrook like we have been talking about. He is (in my opinion) one of the riskiest picks in the league because he is extremely inconsinstent. So is Ray Lewis, Edgerrin James, and Joseph Addai. STAY AWAY FROM THEM IN YOUR DRAFT.

Make sure to take a RB in your first pick. And probably another RB in your second they will produce the most points in your league. But like I said everyone does it differently and luck is a HUGE factor in fantasy football. Just join a free yahoo league for a couple years then you can move on to real money leagues I have one going for just $10 right now its gonna be fun
