Maybe, i will change the 2 5850`s to two 5870`s. Naw, i like the low temps of the 5850`s. Edit: i will keep everyone updated, when i get items in with pictures if possible.

I am getting ready to click the button to buy, so check over my list and tell me if any changes should be made. I am not getting the pioneer Buleray disc burner, because its out of stock and so is the video cards i want. Here is the present list. Lian Li PC-B70 $279.99, ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 1366 MB $289.99, CORSAIR 1000W PSU $239.99, Intel i7-920 $288.99, Patriot Torqx 2.5" 128GB SSD $395.00, OCZ Gold 6GB(3X2GB) $131.99 and Artic Silver 5 Thermal compound. the Total comes to $1622.94 without shipping. I will be getting 2 XFX 5870`s and a Pioneer Blueray burner when they are in stock . I was going to get a Intel G2 SSD but they are out of stock everywhere. Thanks in advance

Looks good! Beware, the Intel G2 latest firmware has a bug and is wiping out Win 7 installs. I still caution you about 2 x 5870s in Cross-Fire, they are still having driver problems making it work. 2 x 285s in SLI makes better sense right now.

I will be using my ATI 4890 for right now, but i might get one 5870 until they fix the problem.

What problem, OS? I have them and they're running very nicely with the games I've been playing....COD4, Crysis, WarHead, COD W@W, STEAM games that I have, UT3, Painkiller Resurrection. Only game giving me some grief is The Witcher Enhanced Ed, I get graphical glitches (black lines on screen) and have sent a feedback report to ATi about this.
Edit - Finally have Crysis and WH running @1920x1200, Very High Spec (Crysis 64bit DX10), Enthusiast (WH DX10) with 4xAA (CCC AA setting at Edge Detect) with FR between 30fps to >60fps.....AWESOME!

Its on its way, everyhing but video cards, i wil use my ATI4890 until prices drop on others, maybe they will have a fix by then. EVerything come to $1750. rounded off with shipping. I will pickup the pioneer blueray burner when it is back in stock.

What's the problem getting 'em to work? I have two of 'em in CFX mode and they're working fine.....though I've heard that it Cat 9.12 that would finally get the HD5 series cards running well. So far, only game I have issue with is The Witcher Enhanced Ed, weird gfx glitches like black lines and such. Only other game which I've seen an issue with these cards is Crysis, I sometimes see small dots (like when we OC our mem too much) but definitely nothing wrong with the ram on my card.
