    Outlook 2002 problem

I am trying to send out an email to people in my distrabution list. There are around 100 people on the list (I don't know if that matters). When I set up the email I put myself in the "to" line and the distrabution list in the "bcc". When I hit send the email comes to me fine but I also get one from "System Administrator" saying

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

    Subject:
    Sent: 11/4/2009 1:21 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

    'XXXXX' on 11/4/2009 1:21 PM
    501 Syntax error in arguments

I can't figure why it won't send. I have tried making a new list but it does it with that one to. I have confirmed the emails with my master list. It has worked before I don't know what has happened. Thanks for any help

(I don't know if that matters)
I would consider you as a SPAMMER - maybe your ISP does too. Try breaking up the list and do three smaller mailings.

I have tried breaking it in two groups and still no good. I recently built a new computer and reinstalled Outlook 2002 on it and imported the .PST file. Could that have anything to do with it? The last time I sent an email with the distrabution list was with my old computer and it worked fine.

That error is caused by an error somewhere in your list.
Check for an invalid character, extra punctuation, etc.
Your ISP may have list size limits for residential accounts as an anti-spam control.
IIRC Exchange Server (older versions) had an 8kB maximum size for a mailing list.

I thought it was a wrong email address also. I created another dist. list with only two people on it and I called and confirmed there email and it still didn't work it came back with the same error. Tommorrow I'm going to just format and reinstall everything, maybe then what ever got out of wack will fix. I am so frustrated I can't think of anything else to try.

Did you make ANY type of change to your ACCOUNT Settings? The glitch could be there too.
