Yes that commercial is just stupid. Why does mac release new versions of theirs then? New generation of software always tries to make things better over the previous version.

The new ones are pretty sad actually. There was one that showed a lady upgrading from XP not to 7 but to a Mac. Quite wishful thinking lol. I like how they fail to mention the 50-100% price premium over a comparable PC. Mac has practially topped out their user base with their current business model. They will need to go open platform to actually compete with windows. They can stay a niche market and IMO it is better for them to do so but their major growth will happen not in the world of computers but in portables. But it does get sad to see them try to puff up and directly take on MS.
