    AMD and Intel Settle Out Of Court

    AMD and Intel have settled out of court the lawsuit AMD brought against Intel.

    Here's the joint settlement agreement.

    I wonder if this was to avoid a judgement that might adversely affect Intel's chances against the NY anti-trust suit.

    Regardless, it would be nice to just put the whole matter to bed.

    1.5 billion, not bad....i would assume payment would start almost immediately since it was a mutual agreement.....

    i wonder, one time payment, or maybe a 5 or 10 year plan???? either way, not a bad little settlement for AMD's coffers...a nice little non taxable cash infusion.....
