The vagina monster is a bit before the ending. I did find it interesting that the Vault was a lie, but hey, you saved the world sorta! Check out Playthrough 2, you'll fight tougher enemies and get better loot. Its still lots of fun!

The ending was weak. They never touch on the players background and nothing is explained. i had fun but I think the game just fell flat at the end. Everything got insanely rushed. Maybe DLC will fix that, but it shouldn't have to.

I didn't mind that so much since I had zero expectations of the story. Its a classic RPG scenario - your party arrives at some town in search of fame and fortune, does odd jobs for locals to build up a reputation eventually leading them closer to their ultimate goal.

The ending was that the Vault is really just some gateway for a crazy alien doom creature and the guardian angel was there to guide you to protect the world from destruction... by unleashing the creature and having you blast the hell out of it. Weak, yes, but I don't feel like it detracted from the game at all since the story is so light to begin with and the action is so fun.

Seriously, check out Playthrough 2; even if you're doing the same quests you just did the new level of difficulty and epic loot drops keep it very fun.

I'll give game+ a shot but I still argue that for an RPG that plot could have been a lot better and the ending still blows.

Ugh, absolutely not worth 10 bucks. Whole thing was very easy and the boss was a joke. Main and side quests took under two hours and we weren't even trying to speed run it.
