Wireless cards/USB adapters not working in Win7 64 bit!

I've just built a new core-i7 system running Win7 64 bit, but apparently I found out that currently there are few if any wireless devices (usb adapters or pci cards) that work with it.

I have an airlink wireless-N USB adapter, an older Dlink wireless G USB adapter, and a just-bought Encore wireless-N PCI card. None of it works, and I've done everything I can - updated drivers, turn off firewall, etc.

I just cannot get it to work. Has anybody successfully connected their Win7 64 bit to the net using one of these devices? Which model? Is this simply a problem of lazy hardware manufacturers not providing updated drives for win7 64 bit yet?
