I think they also said you could imbue your plasmids with your weapons but it wasn't really clear. Wurm, can you clarify that?
No idea, so far its been weapon upgrade stations only like in the first game. The new hacking tool is MUCH better. And you get a remote hacking gun that you can use to hack a camera or bot from across the room to seriously ruin some slicers day.
The big sisters are about as scary as running into your first rosie from the first game. but they go down and they leave adam. So far I'm rescuing the little sisters. They look too much like my little girl to harvest them lol

Wurm: Yeah, I know, but I want to physically own the game. That's why I'll wait until I find it at a store. Glad you're enjoying it, though. Looking forward to visiting Rapture again!

It seems like the widescreen issue from the original game is back. 2K is working on the issue right now. I'm kind of sad that something like this got through again. Going through the INI files shows all kinds of 360 and PS3 information which just screams that it was poorly ported over.
Having said that, the first minutes of the game was great. It seems to run better than the original too which is a plus in my book.

i think i'll wait for securom, and hopefully windows live, to be removed from the steam version, its simply rediculous to have those tools in place with steam

FYI, the Steam copy will still have GFWL.
If we hit that bull's eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Nerdy.......AND sexy
I like the whole hacking process much better overall. I played more tonight, it's pretty much the same as the original. No worse, and about 10-20 % improved.
If you're a bioshock fan, definitely get this.

I went downtown three hours ago and purchased the game. Admiring the case as I'm writing. Going to install it and try it later tonight.

Awesome.
Played a bit last night. Fun, story seems interesting, very happy to be back in Rapture. Feeling like the game is a little too linear currently but I'm hoping that changes.
