exactly. I had one lock up after many hours of playing. I think it was caused by my soundblaster. I got a cycling sound loop, which froze up the game.
    Otherwise it runs fine everytime.

LOL! I won't comment on this, but there seems to be a little bug with the game. On loading a level, or continuing the game after powering up, I do notice that FR isn't good at all. early 20's, but after a few seconds, it goes up to 50fps to >60fps. Really weird, but I suppose I can't complain since I'm running it @5760x1200.

I've had several lockups, one took place right as I was autosaving the next level, so I had to redo the entire level (hadn't had to save for anything). The story was quite the parallel to Bioshock for a while - a few "events" are exactly the same. I was disappointed in the plasmids; I had hoped for some more variety. The weapons are excellent. Haven't tried multiplayer.

Finished it in 2 sittings. Very impressed, far more so than the original.

As with Wurm, excellent weapons, excellent story, better hacking. Tighter but more linear level design. Atmosphere intact and improved in places.

Dual wielding is a godsend. Powers evolve in very interesting ways, I can't stress this enough, a power doesn't only get more powerful, it gets more useful as well.

Near the end game I stuck to chucking security bots and spam plasmids at everything in my way. I would then berserk with the drill on the enemies lucky enough to get close. This was made possible with the Drill Specialist gene tonic. Drop use of ranged weapons for drills and really cheap plasmids ? Yes, please.

Research camera is much more fun to use now. The build up to the end was very well executed as well.

Frankly, well worth the cash in my opinion. The novelty of being a big daddy doesn't wear off even till halfway through. The .50 cal minigun is so good, that it only needs the damage upgrade from base to stay viable throughout the game.

I'm at Fontaine Futuristics now, looking for those special plants. Can anyone tell me how much is left of the game? Loving it so far.

You are pretty close to the end... only one major level to go.

I just completed the game! I loved everything about it. I guess the only minus is the length, but quality > quantity.

As long as a game is fun throughout I really don't mind. Something like Portal for example, while incredibly short, is incredibly awesome. Now, if I had paid $50 for that, I would have been a bit pissed...
