Thinking of upgrading CPU from dual to quad core....

    Heres my motherboard....
    http://www.motherboardpro.com/EVGA-1...ATX-p-402.html

I was thinking of putting in one of these -

My question is this - compatability ? Would this CPU work ?
Will I need to reinstall windows ?
I just need to take out my old cpu and put in the new one, add the grease on the cooler and reboot ?

You're limited to 65nm quad cores. Overclocking will be so-so, better than most 680i boards since it's an A1 revision.

yeah, that's it. Just pull out the other one, stick the new one in and fire it up. (after putting thermal paste, cpu cooler etc on)
