    Lead and Gold

So I bought this on a whim and it's really awesome. It's a multiplayer 5vs5, third person, western themed class based shooter. Developed by some indie developer in Sweden. It sort of has a Battlefield Heroes/TF2 kind of vibe minus the wackiness.

There's 4 classes total. 1st is close range shotgun class with the ability to throw dynamite. 2nd is medium ranged repeating rifle class with the ability to mark players that gives everyone increased damage. 3rd is sniper with the ability to set traps. 4th is short/medium ranged pistol with the ability to shoot it extremely fast. Teamwork is pretty much forced in that you don't have to do much to help your team. Each class gives the team a boost provided they're in the same area. Boosts like increased accuracy and armor.

The game is mostly objective based with a bunch of game modes. I only played two of them that involved carrying gunpower to blow up an objective and carrying gold out of an enemy's base. It was pretty fun. There's no BS weapons or cheap ways to die. It's mostly about maximizing the effectiveness of your class weapons and abilities while trying to minimize the other player's. The maps are pretty solid (6 total) with classic western locations like mines and old looking towns.

Overall I really like it. It's $13.50 if you preorder ($15 normally) which gives you access to the beta that is pretty bug free. It's a good break from BC2 and something different.
