I could be tempted to join in for a four pack. Although, I have never joined in before and don't know the process and how to go about spending my money. Does Steam have a means of each paying only a portion or does one person pay and then the others reimburse? If the latter, how so?

I'll be #4 if SewerUrchin, Gar, and Adaman are all in.

*Edit: How do these things normally work? One person pays, then the rest paypal the money or what?

I'm definitely interested, but like the others have mentioned, I've never done a 4 pack deal so I'm also not sure how it works.

The way it works is one person buys the whole set and then gifts the extra copies to other people. It's up to you guys to work out who is purchasing and how to get that person your share of the $$.

Buying a four pack works like this:

Four people throw $20 into a hat, four copies of borderlands pop out. It's pretty simple really.

OK, so I'm down for a 4 pack, do we have 3 others willing to chip in?

What game? I believe Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands are both on special right now.

*EDIT* Nevermind, looked back in the thread and saw you were discussing Borderlands. I'm a bit interested in both Borderlands and L4D2 actually.

    from a recent article:

games.on.net: What about co-op over LAN, which is a bit of a hot topic for PC gamer at the moment? Are you supporting it?

Randy: Absolutely. You can play over LAN, play over the Internet, however you want to play. The co-op is drop in and drop out, so if you're playing singleplayer you can invite somebody in whenever you want.
