    There does not appear to be any midweek sales this week, however Steam has announced that all users can download Modern Warfare 2 starting today and everyone can play it for free starting tomorrow afternoon and ending on Sunday

    It's not a bad game and definitely worth checking out for free. I'm wary of Medal of Honor... the last 5-or-so games in that series were terrible.

    I heard the single player is pretty short (Mostly from other Sharks). It's worth a download and playthrough if I can get through it before Sunday.

    I have hopes that MoH will be be thoroughly MWized and thus suck less, dare it even be great... after MW2 (multiplayer issues, single player was very enjoyable) there is not a whole lot a game has to do to be more accepted by comparison. I will be waiting for reviews before buying but I am very interested.
    On a side note I think it hilarious that they are doing a free weekend, its like daring all the hackers to ruin it for all the people willing to try it. My hope is that it is such a resounding thud that Activision reconsider all such future moves. I am practically giddy at the possibility of this epic fail. Get those aim bots ready boys!

    um... anyone else having problems downloading it? i've restarted steam and clicked on the link a billion times, but nothing ever happens.

    what a joke the pre-load is. It doesn't even work. Apparently the preload was only 4gb. Now the update comes to get it to 12gb....but here's the problem, even that isn't working right. and top it off with a nice spoonfull of 15% off...so it's STILL more expensive then Bad Company 2.
