Very slow release, slow decision making. One of those guys that needs everything to be near perfect to succeed.

Ok I just want to step in for a second and ask: WHO IN THE HELL IS THIS REVIS PERSON YOU SPEAK OF???? I am completely lost. At first I thought it was a coach, then I thought it may be a defensive coord. And now I am guessing he is a safety? I'm sure a simple google search of "Revis" would work but still, I have NEVER heard of the guy. Has he been around for years or is he a newly coming, and from what you guys speak of him, the BEST shutdown corner in the league? Again, I am just going off of what you two are bickering about, whatever it may be. WHO THE FLIP IS REVIS??????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?

If he's not THE best, he's pretty damned close.

As is Marshall at the WR position.

They are both really good at their perspective positions.

Revis may not be quite the lockdown guy that namdi is, but he is a much better football player. Tackles very well, and makes more big plays. Namdi cannot tackle very good. The fact Revis shuts his man down, but still manages to get 6 Ints puts him in a class by himself right now.

You couldn't be more wrong. Nnamdi is one of the best tackling corners in the league year in year out. He's a big, physical corner (6'2" 210) and tackling RB's in the backfield is one of his specialities.

Granted he doesn't get the INT's or big plays Revis gets, but most of that is due to the fact opposing QB's simply do not throw in his direction...ever.

And lets not forget, Revis is playing on one of the leagues top Defenses, while Nnamdi is playing on one of the worst. It's a hell of a lot harder covering your man when your defense has no pass rush, and you rarely force 3rd and longs when you know it's a passing situation, and/or the opposing team isn't playing from behind which also forces passing situations.

I am so surprised the skins did not passed on Oking. Seattle had a good 1st round I think.

    Crazy!

I had thought that Tebow was supposed to be the guy who fell this draft. With Claussen and/or McCoy going before him.

The talk on the internetz that I was reading before the draft was how bad of a pick that Bradford was supposed to be for the Rams, but that they'd end up taking him anyways. Apparently due to him playing a spread offense in Oklahoma and thus not being ready for a Pro offense.

That Claussen and McCoy were actually the better QBs to take.

The talk was that teams were scared off of McCoy because he's perceived as too small.

Also thought that Taylor Mays would go before the 1st round was out.

Seems to me that was the knock on Drew Brees as well coming out of college. Sometimes I think teams get fixated on more trivial things like that. Al Davis being fixated on Russell's arm strength being a prime example (I remember at the time being pissed at the Raiders taking him and not Calvin Johnson instead).

I can't believe that Claussen and McCoy are still available!

Best one in years for us, got Golden Tate at #60 today too. And there are still some really nice prospects on the board too, what a deep draft this has turned out to be.

Saw your boys got the safety they were looking for today.

I think the GM's are onto Mays; a real athletic freak but not great in coverage and may not turn out to be much of an actual football player. Not a bad guy to take after the first though. I have heard he's being all pissy at Pete Carroll for not taking him. lol
