I haven't been able to get Borderlands to work yet. First of all, it would just freeze every time after the loading screen. I solved that by updating my video drivers. Then, my guy wouldn't stop sidestepping right. He'd just keep moving right no matter what, even after unplugging my keyboard and controller and resetting bindings to default :/

So now I reinstalled it and hoping it's finally work, but I'm not too optimistic

Is it true you can only turn on anti aliasing only by downloading rivatuner?

Anyway to get a console in this game? I want to adjust my sensitivity exactly to my liking...the sensitivity slider bar takes big jumps on each change.

Wow, sorry to hear about so many problems, I've never had a hiccup running Borderlands. I've never heard of that anti aliasing bug you are referring too, I run the game at max everything and I don't have rivatuner installed.

But the game by default doesn't have any anti aliasing options. So you might have all the available options maxed but there's no AA present.

After 3 days of frustration and troubleshooting I finally got borderlands to work. My character wouldn't stop moving to the right, like I said above. To a point where I was screaming WHY GOD, WHY? And I couldn't get the SOB to stop moving right no matter how many things I unplugged from my computer. Well, apparently unplugging my controller didn't matter, but disabling controllers from windows device manager did the trick. It doesn't make any sense why the guy would still move right with no controller plugged in, or why he would move only to the right at all. 2kgames makes fun games, but they're always buggy like this.

Don't have this problem in any other games. I guess I'll just have to manually disable controllers in device manager before I play the game each time :/ - I use my controller for other games so it's going to be annoying to switch back and forth. Also weird that I didn't find any other similar cases.

Anyways, at least I can finally start playing, and hopefully put this mess behind me. Until I run into another bug which prevents me from playing :/ - Get your shizzle together, 2kgames...btw still waiting for an MLB2K10 patch that actually fixes things.

I play the crap out of 2k10 and haven't had a single problem since they patched a couple weeks back. Granted I only play MyPlayer also.

I only play myplayer also, but it always crashes right to desktop after you play in your second playoff series.

I guess Borderlands is made by Gearbox though, I'm still having a real tough time dealing with my character constantly moving right or left for no reason. Sometimes disabling things in device manager will fix it, sometimes it won't. Again I wonder why more people don't have this problem. All I can come up with is that the game just hates my guts specifically.

I've had that problem a few times, but it was usually something that a save and exit would fix (I know that's obnoxious).

That would make sense since I'm still in my second season. I know the game was buggy to all hell thats why I waited. If it does to me what it has done to you I will just stop playing it.

Regarding borderlands that sucks, the game really is a lot of fun but bugs will make you want to stop playing ( also see The Witcher ). Especially when you cannot diagnose it.

It doesn't scale, sadly. During playthrough 2 I ran through it at lv 46 and it was only lv 38ish.

Forgot to mention I'm down for zombie crazyness. I haven't touched any of the DLc and my level 34 hunter is hungry for action.
