It probably has a lot to do with why I'm not too good with the bolt-action snipers. I can't accurately gauge bullet drop at long distances. Using the M24 I should be able to shoot at 100, 200, even 300m with the mil-dots, but they don't seem to correspond to anything.

When you fire a shot, watch where the bullet lands (you can see it) and raise or lower accordinly. Once you get used to it, it'll seem automatic.

Very true, when I'm at long distances with the GOL or M95 I will normally aim a foot above the persons head and nail them in the dome almost every time. My head shot to hit ratio is really good with the GOL. I still prefer going medic with the MG36 though, it's really amazing how accurate it is. I was a big fan of the M60 but the MG36 won my heart after the last patch.

The M24 scope sight is the best. Definitely use the mil dots and pick predictable spots like gun emplacements. Get a practice shot to gauge it then just camp until someone gets on the emplacement then BOOM HEADSHOT!

Ive been looking for the same thing. No servers stand out so far.

From time to time, I happen to stumble on a squad or two using teamwork...

But mostly its a disorganized mess...I'll gladly teamplay with you if you wants.

I don't know what you're talking about. Considering that you're someone who doesn't throw ammo, doesn't revive, doesn't heal, and doesn't repair, I don't see how you can really complain.

Pretty much every game I play, people help me out. There are guys throwing me ammo, guys shooting tracers, guys reviving me, guys repairing me, ect.

I repair and throw ammo, I dont revive because I dont play medic...

The other day me and a squad hop into a m3 bradley with 3 squad m8s

We were a force to be reconed with and it was amazing

The main gun was ALWAYS FIRING the main .5 cal was constantly going off our side machine guns was firing, 1 single vehicle, and 4 guys working together held down a team of 16 even with RPGs, AT4s and all we simply couldn't be stopped.

When we got damaged the 2 side gunners would hop out (that was me and another guy) and repair running around the vehicle as the Bradley provided cover fire for us if we got injured we hopped back in. The highest scorer in my squad was 4,500 points I scored 3,200 points and we had one guy below me who scored like 3,000 points. We dominated the top 4.

It was amazing the enemy was firing RPGs at us however because we had 4 full blown engineers in the vehicle they never did enough dmg to take us completely out. And mortars never did any good cause we kept moving.

We did this for the entire round and won hands down. The other squads barely helped outbut they were the ones charging the MCOM stations we were the ones clearing the way. Each time a kill was made everyone got 50 points, at least. I remember once we saw a group of about 5 enemy come out of the wood works preparing to destory us we mowed them down the main turret fire, the main .50 cal fired and a side machine gun went off and they were gone before they knew what hit them.

I see sometimes crates or barrels moving up and down.

Not sure what they are trying to achieve, maybe wind simulation?

No I didnt. I said I don't SPAWN with my squad. That doesnt mean I dont give people ammo or repair vehicles when I see someone in need. I just get killed if I spawn in my squad.

Edit : Also on topic, they need to do something about people being able to damage friendly MCOMS. I've ran into servers twice already where some guy on my team would sit around and fire rockets and grenades at our own MCOM...add the fact that there was no admin and no kick vote system in place (like in Quake Wars), we pretty much had little we could do.

And its not that I want people to FOLLOW me, I just dont play like 90% of players and hate going where most people go (and end up sitting in a spot and exchanging fire over long distances). I prefer to rush in, either by flanking them or even a straightforward rush, even if its a suicide run, as long as I manage to cap off at least one of the people on the other side. I've rocketed myself as well previously on purpose just to take someone else out with me.

I just have a completely different playstyle...and I am still having fun. It's when I play by "the rules", hang with a squad, throw ammo/health...thats when I get killed 50 times in a row and have NO fun at all.

Ah okay, fair to figure that out due to that post since I wasnt clear on what I meant. I said when I hang by a squad...if I just run by, throw ammo/health and dont stick around the squad, I'm fine. Just hate squad members exposing me and sitting in one spot exchanging fire.
