    Cryostasis Code Giveaway

    I saw this over on Hardforums.

    Cryostasis Code Giveaway!
    Goto this website http://www.evga.com/code/default.asp and claim your code.

    Then, you go to the link - http://store.nvidia.com

    Click add to cart, fill out the info, apply the promo code, if it doesn't work try another one, etc.

    It'll eventually work, you click "begin download". It'll download a manager, run the manager and it'll start downloading Cryostasis. You can then launch it like any other game.

    Hopefully you have a Nvidia card, it is unplayable on ATI.

    I can play it with the Steam version, but I ain't sure about this 'giveaway' version though. This game runs like crap on my HD3870 X2 system a while back, haven't even bothered trying it with my HD5870s, this is a GPU PhysX game btw.

    Yup, even if you get it to launch it will be a slide show. My 4870 X2 is crippled by it and the graphics aren't even good.

    That's kinda funky. Have you tried disabling PhysX?

    yikes, I have a 4850....haven't launched the game yet, maybe I should just click uninstall right now

    Yeah, just read the steam forums. All ATI users have the problem. They did not optimize the engine for ATI.

    I have a 5850 and it runs like crap even win physx off. Wish nvidia would allow using n idea cards as proprietary physx cards with ati cards again.
