I fired a rocket at an MCOM building the other day to take out a wall, and ended up hitting the station itself and got a few hundred negative points for friendly damage

Thats why I'm very careful around Mcom buildings, which is bad because that means the enemy has a better chance to plant. However an accident is okay, it doesnt bother me. That guy was doing it on purpose...

The only thing I can't stand is when the enemy team spams mortars on an m-com and brings it down without coming anywhere near it.

Yeah, I've see barrels and other random objects just hanging in mid-air. I haven't yet noticed them moving around at random.

Does anyone get a flickering picture? I had this happen when the game first hit, but then subsequent patches fixed it. Now it's back.

I've played some BC2 last night and I can't help but feel a little lost in it. Even for battlefield standards, I feel like the movements are slightly more sluggish and the weapons don't do much damage. I played BF2 for a long time before and never noticed this feeling. Does anyone feel the same way? Will I get used to it over time?

That's pretty much how I felt too, it's why I could never really get into the game that much.

I think weapon feel and damage is spot on.

Today I saw a lawn chair floating high above the battlefield, one well aimed shot and it came crashing down.

No idea what it was doing up there

You get use to it, having come from playing many hours of MW2 I felt the same way, but its fine for me now.

I modded the fov and the game felt a lot better. Google how to do it and it might make it less sluggish for ya.

Good advice, FOV can use a bit of tweaking.

I've tweaked the FOV, but it doesn't seem to change anything while your in a vehicle. I actually didn't play this week. I got so sick of being stuck on teams full of idiot Call of Duty players that I temporarily gave up.

Everyone wants to be a sniper despite the fact that it's far and away the least useful class.

The really need to add optics to the M14 as well. It's bad enough that it has a 10 round magazine instead of the real life 20, it's a precision rifle and it needs optics.

I have had great fun playing as recon class, armed with c4 and the auto shotty.

Use the scanner, check surrounding area load up the mcom, sit back and wait for a couple of guys to disarm and detonate, guaranteed 400 points.

It is hard to pull off with team mates around, the c4 is unstable and will go off when someone lobs a grenade your way, resulting in suicide and epic fail message.

Three of those runs and the mcom is toast

I prefer shotty + C4 with assault class. I can reload my own C4. Nothing better than blowing an APC loaded with dudes sky high with some C4.
