You can manually load it.
i have a nexus one but i installed a froyo rom by cyanogen instead of the OTA... i dont see the point in waiting for OTA if you have a rootable android phone... if you want carrier and OS limitation, get an iphone

I'm not going to root my Galaxy S until after Froyo is rolled out by AT&T which may be sooner rather than later because of a GPS bugs.
I finally got Froyo - then instantly upgraded to a Droid 2......
