It's worth it. I bought it during the super sale this summer. Nice having all the expansions and everything in one nifty package.

that pack for $70 is mighty tempting, but i own most of those games, or have in the distant past

dosbox to the rescue

if i wasn't such a morrowind buff i would jump on oblivion, but i could never fully get into it, felt a little to scaled down for the masses

I was really tempted to get doom pack for 13 bucks yesterday, but I never actually played doom long enough. Even when the first game came out I probably only played it for 2 minutes.

If you can keep remembering that STALKER is a European made game, then you will probably enjoy it. I logged about 20 hrs in the first one, but got tired of fighting with the quest system and dealing with the inventory. Some of that was apparently fixed in the second one. I did like the atmosphere of the game and it got pretty intense at times. But $10 for both of those I think is a great deal.

Euro style games are a bit different then western games...just like Japanese games are different. That's all I meant. It's not going to be just a run and gun game, and it's not an oblivion w/ guns (ala Fallout 3) either.

Mount and blade warband on sale. Giant bomb has a long video of the gameplay. Looks fun. Running a pike through someone looks fun
