Hammerhead Shark
I heard Llano might be 5650-level (rumor of course) but can't find the source now. That would be more impressive if it wasn't delayed till mid-2011 and potentially not far from HD 7000 (HD 6000 is this fall/winter if I remember right?) but it's still a good start.
This brings up a thought: Considering how insanely power hungry modern GPUs have gotten, how will next-gen consoles deal with them? People expect consoles to have GPUs that are top-of-the-line at release (and maybe even above top-of-the-line special order) but I can't see any possible way they could squeeze an HD5870 into something the size of an Xbox. Wonder if favor might swing back toward PC gaming if consoles lose their initial performance edge... /dreaming
Gateway NV53 15.6": Athlon II M300, HD4200, 4GB DDR2, 320GB 7200rpm
Next upgrade: As soon as I can get an Ivy Bridge machine with 128GB SSD for under $600.
Great people talk about ideas.
Normal people talk about things.
Small people talk about other people.
