Don't get me wrong, the guy is now a Dallas Cowboy and I hope its only a matter of time before he is in the strip clubs "making it rain", becoming a huge locker room cancer criticizing his QB, and getting caught with Micheal Irvin in a hotel room doing coke.

I'm playing "devil's advocate" here.
It has been suggested, and has been mentioned here, that this could be common practice. Just that it was something that was acceptable being that it was done in secret.
And maybe the GM only apologized because it looks and sounds really, REALLY bad. He's sorry that the story broke more than anything. That had the story not broken, that it'd have been business as usual.
I honestly don't know. Could be one way, could be the other.
I do know that in my green card interview, something inflammatory (to most people) was asked of me. Something more inflammatory was asked to somebody I know. And that it is "business as usual" for that interview. I also know that most people aren't aware of that. And yet it exists anyways.
I realize that the situation is a bit different. Staying in a country and working legally vs. an employment interview. But I also think that it's more similar than different. And that if the "acceptable practice" was to break in the news like this one did... that there would probably be outrage as well. One that would facilitate change. Thus, to me it's a contradiction.
Not that it bothers me one way or the other. It didn't in my interview (I found it funny), and I really don't care that much about this either. Though I don't agree with it.

It's a big deal because Dez Bryant made it so. And now the commissioner has to apologize to everyone because Bryant decided to make it public.

Jamarcus Russell has been cut. Arguably the greatest bust in league history?
Also Lawrence Taylor accused of rape of a 16 year old girl.

Saw this.
This was good on some bad draft busts:

Little surprised that he wasn't on that list. Then again, the ones that were on that list were pretty huge. Not sure who you'd kick off for the Bozz.
I thought that you'd be referencing this guy tho:

He was a typical "workout warrior". However, he is not even close to any of the guys on either of the lists we posted. While he did not live up to the expectations after having one of the best set of pre draft workouts ever, he did not have a completely horrible career either. Here is a pretty good article about him:
http://fifthdown.blogs.nytimes.com/2...f-mike-mamula/
As one poster replyed to the article, he was much more suited to be a 3-4 outside linebacker than a defensive end. His skills were more Damarcus Ware than Julius Peppers.

The one I had forgotten about and that list reminded me of was Blair Thomas.

Ehh, Bosworth. I still talk to guys who swear he'd have been the bee's knees if he hadn't been forced to play with wrecked shoulders. Who knows.

Defintely a different class of diva WR than the likes of Owens.

Has got that jut
Had class tonight, so I just got home recently, and all I have to say is WHOO RAVENS. Not a pretty game, and any time you lose the turnover battle 3-1 it's a struggle to win, but I'll take a road win over a quality team any day of the week no matter HOW it went down.
The Jets were HORRIBLE tonight. The Ravens almost doubled their time of possession with 49 freaking rushing yards. A classically bad game. Like, historically bad when you look at the stats.

Ray Lewis still looks real good though. Blowing up the fullback on one play, covering the deep middle 25 yards down the field on the next. And he hit that one receiver HARD. Shonn Green looked horrible, but dare I say LT looked like he has a lot left even in the loss. Jets need a passing game though.
