I like how the Jets fans got put in their place, too many cocky jets fans running around. The jets are getting most of the media time too, so the giants can quietly win, which I think works for them.

I'm glad the giants beat the panthers, they always have trouble with them. They need to get their running game going, Eli needs to work on his passes a little too. He was throwing high the entire game leading to tons of tips and a few interceptions, the receivers kept getting exposed to big hits jumping for passes. Nicks looks to be on his way to being a really good receiver, and manningham is progressing as well. Defense looked good, but I'm worried about how much of it was because the panthers, qb made a lot of bad decisions.

Special teams were TERRIBLE, a punt was blocked, and after every kickoff the panthers started on the 40 yrd line. They really have to work on coverage, and the punter needs to settle down and get some good kicks off

Eagles fans got exactly what they wanted, Kolb started, and now they're wishing Mcnabb was back and want Vick to start. Who knows how long Kolb will be out with his concussion. Cowboys offense was anemic. Eagles lost and cowboys lost, this week couldn't have gone any better

This Eagles fan wants no part of Vick starting. Kolb needs to take his lumps, they are not a superbowl caliber team anyway. They need interior offensive linemen badly, and Hobbs is an aweful corner. A year or 2, if they fill some holes and Kolb gets better, maybe a shot. This year, no way.

Vick is 10x better than Kolb.

Vick is probably better now, but hes gone at the end of the year. Also, if a team has a week to prepare for Vick he will not look near as good as he did coming off the bench.

I don't mean this week. I mean in general. Vick is a good QB, regardless of his tendencies to make animals fight each other. Kevin Kolb just isn't very good.

I also meant in general. If a team gameplans for Vick he would not look as good as he did coming off the bench. As for Kolb, I think he has potential to be a very good player, I am not gonna write him off after 1 bad half.

    Has Vick finally matured?

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5595955

I have never been a fan of his, as a person or a player, but he is saying all the right things. His play looks much improved also. Along with his immense athletic talents, his decision making on the field was better than I can remember him ever having. Maybe he was never properly coached, and now Reid who is excellent with QB's, is teaching him how to read a defense and all that other stuff he was not very good at.

The Texans might finally do something this season. The Colts tested their running game, and the Redskins tested the passing. They even looked good on special teams (blocked field goal). Cowboys is next so they have a good chance next week.

The Texans are actually my pick to win the Superbowl this year. I love what Kubiak is doing with that team incredible coach.

He is just positioning himself to get a decent contract this off-season. Causing trouble now would just be idiotic. He will play the good boy and after he gets a new contract then we will see if he has actually changed or not. Though I will say if Kolb struggles this season I can see them getting rid of him and signing Vick themselves.

Kolb has a lot of guaranteed money. I don't see them dumping him this season for any reason. I think the bet the bank on him.

Gotcha, I didn't know what kolb's contract was structured like. I know Vick isn't gonna sit again after this year.

They originally signed Vick for a few reasons. First, I almost think it was a charity case. Jeff Lurie is a big time philanthropist. But I also think he was an insurance policy, in case Kolb did not develop the way they wanted. Whether you, I or anyone else think he is or will be any good is irrelevant, the team and Reid in paricular is very high on him. So, with 3 Qb's all on the final year of their respective contracts, they extend Kolb. I think age has a lot to do with it due to the fact the average age of the team is like 24 or 25.
