    Sure thing.

Taggart, you and Kamakazie have admin privileges.

for anyone who wants to join the server, just click multiplayer in the client, and then input darksavior.net for the "server IP" (it works with domains too).

You can still connect to the multiplayer server, I might just have to disable namechecking.

*Edit1: Definitely can't login right now with namechecking enabled.
*Edit2: Nope, still can't connect after setting verify-names=false.
*Edit3: I can connect if I use online-mode=false, but it logs you in as "Player", and you can't do anything. Seems we are SOL until Notch's host is back up and running.
*Edit4: Seems to be back up and running.

My first fun experience with multiplayer:

    1. Try to login and the game is down.
    2. Wait 3 hours.
    3. Login and connect to server.
    4. Try to dig in sand at spawn point but it doesn't work.
    5. Successfully dig a few blocks away from spawn point.
    6. Run towards large tower someone else built.
    7. Find out night is coming already.
    8. See James log in and then logout about 15 seconds later.
    9. Cover myself with dirt in a 2x1x2 space to wait out the night.
    10. Get disconnected from server about 1 minute later.

Tried joining, but couldn't dig into anything. Logged out and closed Minecraft, but when I tried to start up the program again I couldn't log in at all and the only option I had was to play offline. Guess Minecraft.net is down again.

No need to protect yourself, there are no monsters and no damage in multiplayer yet.

Apparently there are, and they cause DDoS attacks.

I haven't been able to log in to minecraft all night.

    sorry had to shower!

Basic idea is a 21 by 21 dig site with a center column a single set of stairs along the wall making its way down to the bottom. I'll draw something up and post it later!

Edit: Forgot to add that we'll need torches to place along the wall. I figure we'll do alternating rows. I'll draft soething up and post it to show you what I mean.
