Eagles need to take advantage of both guys being hot right now and trade one. Vick for Asomugha...get it done. Nnamdi and Asante, plus the rookie Nate Allen looking great and Quentin Mikell being a good player would give them the best secondary in football...

Plus the Cowboys suck, which is always a plus. As an Eagles fan I root against all the NFCE yeams, but I do not hate the Giants, I respect them for having a pretty well run football team. I don't hate the Redskins either. But I LOVE when the Cowboys suck. They are horrible and its just great.

They should trade Kolb but sadly I doubt anyone would take him. The Raiders would destroy Vick like they destroy every other good player.

I could care less how Vick fairs with the Raiders, if he was traded. I bet at least 5 teams would give a 1st round pick for Kolb.

Kolb now has more 300 yard passing games in his career than Vick.
    Kolb: 5 starts, 3 300 yd games
    Vick: 76 starts, 2 300 yd games

Consider that one of Kolbs starts he was injured in the second quarter, and the other against the 49ers he threw for 250 yards and played very well also.

The answer should be simple. The Eagles, regardless of Sunday’s assault on the Falcons, are a better team with Vick. This much was clear in the small sampling of games in which Vick played. He made Philadelphia’s offense more dynamic than it had been in years, dashing on long runs, forcing defensive coordinators to design special tactics just to control him which, in turn, opened more possibilities for players like Jeremy Maclin(notes) and DeSean Jackson(notes).

With Vick the Eagles are really good. With Kolb the Eagles are simply good, this even after Kolb’s three touchdown passes on Sunday and passing ratings of 103.3 (against 49ers) and 133.6 (vs. Falcons) in his past two games. This speaks to just how dominant Vick had been when he started.
Says it better than I could.

edit: And Jon Kitna was a 4000+ yard passer with the Lions too, doesn't make him a great QB.

I am still not sure. They don't mention the defenses Vick played against are among the worst in football, and the Falcons and 49ers where both top 10 defenses at the time Kolb played them.

There is also the injury factor. Vick gets hit more than any QB in football, and they are hard, awkward hits with him throwing his body around. I think he will get hurt often.

Holy ****! What happened to the Broncos? I'm up against a team that has Oakland's RB in my non-sharky league, and he got 43 points. ***

    Damn right, go RAIDERS!

But yeah, Tom Cable tricked me into sitting McFadden this week, after saying he was questionable and would see limited action in the game at Denver.

McFadden has been a beast this year, he's missed a couple games from an injured hamstring, but every game hes started hes put up great numbers.

Oh yeah forgot to add, 59 points scored by the RAIDERS, which is the most they have ever scored in a single game in team history. That's one fact I didn't know, and surprised me as well.

Favre really sucks. They would be a much better team with even Tavaris Jackson starting IMO.

Romo out 6-8 weeks, looks like Dallas is going to have a high draft pick this spring.
