i think it's definitely worth it for that price for the sp alone.

I just setup steam account for my son on his computer and loaded it with:

    Indie Kids pack
    Indie Smarts pack
    Indie Fantasy pack

I'm holding out for a daily deal for TF2 for him. I made an email acct for him and put his acct info in a card and put it in his stocking. Now he can go play games through steam on his PC and leave mine alone

    nothing today

but i have learned a valuable piece of knowledge...............don't order any sort of indie preorder because when a sale comes up it will be a mere fraction of what it went for months back...........patience

If your window is "months" then the rule should be don't buy ANYTHING on Steam at regular price unless you're going to play it right away, because it will undoubtedly be on sale later, and with the number of sales Steam does these days it won't take long.

I don't think Super Meat Boy even took a month to drop like a rock for this sale.

I'm waffling on whether or not I want BFBC2 or not. I actually have a copy of the game on PC that I got for pretty cheap, but I'm thinking of double dipping the Steam version since it's so cheap + grabbing Vietnam. Been looking for a new online MP shooter since TF2 has kind of fallen off for me. Don't like logging in these days and having basically everybody running around with all sorts of new crap I haven't even heard of. Way too many weapons out there now IMO.

    At any rate, already grabbed:

    Indie Mix Pack
    Indie 2D Pack
Oddboxx (already have Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exodus, but Munch + Stranger's together were the same cost as the bundle so I just went with the ease of purchase)
    Prince of Persia 2008
    Super Meat Boy

    ::edit::
Anybody think that Fallout 3 GotY is worth it at that price if I already own the base game? Basically I'd just be getting all the DLC for $20.

Be aware that Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is only $3.60 today if you already own another Tomb Raider game on Steam. Bought!

I bought the Valve pack for my brother. I built him a gaming rig 2 months ago and he owns no valve games yet and this will be his introduction to the Steam community and SALES!

I recommend this to anyone interested. Great local coop fun!

BTW, anybody know if the Witcher scales well in 1920*1200? I bought that KOTOR from steam and that doesn't scale well at all.

Me and Astros just played Tomb Raider co-op; I had only played a couple levels previously in single player and I thought it was pretty good, in co-op it is damn excellent.
