    MS Word question

    Hi,

I have MS Word 2007. I have an opportunity do do some freelancing transcription and the employer says, ""The written document must be time referenced every 5 minutes in Word." How do I reference that in Word?

I see where I can Insert date and time or just the time (I can ask the employer what format he wants), but can I tell Word to insert the time every 5 minutes without me looking at the clock all the time and inserting it manually?

    Thanks!

    Hi

You will have to learn how to use Word VBA macros.

May be you can add time loop to macro like this, http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Date_Time_Stamp.htm

    In general.

Thanks. I created the macro, now it's time to read all about creating a toolbar for it. Even if I don't get this project, learning something new never hurts.
