Minecraft, awesome one man game project

Great. Logged out to fix a chunk error, and now I can't get back in. Will log back in some day and be in the middle of a huge forest at night.

Any chance we could get a new "flat" overhead map of the survival world? Last night I was trying to make a "map" of my tunnels using MS-paint and a screenshot of the googlestyle map, but I can't zoom in enough for good detail without losing too much of the overall view.

Also (at the risk of confusing everyone, again), any chance the google map can be rotated so that North is towards the top?

*Edit: As of now, the maker has not fixed the code to correct this. For now North is lower left of the map, permanently.

I just connected and it DL'd an update. Are you on the server now?

I just tried to log on and couldn't.

The connection issues are getting really aggravating when combined with the chunk errors that you have to log out to fix.

Saw the water-mob today. Got that Octo-bastard and his ink sacs. Now what do I do with them???

I feel like maybe the server could use a restart. I was getting some pretty bad lag + "took to long to login" even with no one else around.

Currently, looks like nothing you can't do by simply finding the new sheep.

If you turn the ink into black dye (or get any dye for that matter), you can "paint" sheep with the dye before shearing them*, and then you'll get a drop of up to 3 cloth of the painted color.

If you dye post-sheared cloth, you're assured of only getting the 1 of that color.

(*hence the recent fascination with cacti -- makes green dye)

ha ha, i still remember the day i received my copy of doom, after the demo who could resist!!!!!!!!!!!!

i remember everytime you exited they had a taunt to get you to purchase

they even sent patches on 3.5's, free of charge, the good ole days
