Has got that jut
Interesting. This time when I logged out to fix a chunk error it is technically "connecting" to Minecraft.net but I get a java error before it gets to the main menu. At least this time I logged out while safe in a tunnel instead of in the middle of nowhere above ground.

Or did you just mean you've had a busy 2 days?
No, I meant I've tried throughout the day to get in, and could not. (I have minecraft loaded on my workstation for the off occasion when someone (usually you) mentions it is down or not working. With that I can open it up, try to login, then close it. I've only been trying during the day though. My evenings lately have not been focused on minecraft.

Looks like somebody set off a creeper right near the entrance to my mine. I've rebuilt some of it, but not all.
Looks like it's no longer explosion free since 12/5/2010. sigh.

Wooohooo... so I just started a new project. It's gonna be a pyramid made of sandstone. I did some calculations concerning the amount of sandblocks I will need. Came up with 16900 blocks of sand. The base is 65x65 so that is 4225, but because it's sandstone, take that 4x so you get 16900 blocks. Building this bad boy to the east, on the sandbanks between the 2 bodies of water. If you feel like donating sand to the cause, there is a storage shed inside the pyramid foundations. Thanks guys.
Edit: As of now I have about 10% of the sand/sandstone I need.

We'll need to coordinate each other's sand harvesting. I've got a few spots on the map that I want to keep around as sandy areas if possible, though I'm also collecting a bunch of it.

Awesome.
We have a monsters-free server where we can just spawn infinite amounts of sand, you know.

Where's the fun in that
Monroeski: I think I will collect near the pyramid and my bunker, which is quite close. So the sand pits to the ENE.

Awesome.
I only ask that you do not start harvesting sand from around my burrow.

That should be fine. I'm generally in the Southwest.

You guys act like it's a lot, its just 25.7 blocks cubed. So if I found a sand pit 25*25*26, I would be set... too bad they are usually around 4-5 at most.

Exactly. Even the huge hills of sand that you find occasionally are mostly stone underneath the outer sand layer.
It would basically mean the removal of a whole desert biome because you'll probably never never find anything even close to 10 layers deep, much less 25.
