nm, found it again.
Kind of a general guide than a set of hard limits (coal appears everywhere, not just 64-127, for example), but still fairly useful. The water level is pretty accurate for lakes and such, I believe; you'll still find random spouts deep underground, but as long as you tunnel at 45 and below you shouldn't ever hit the bottom of a lake. 48 will probably get you under most lakes, but there's a chance you'll hit one.
So wait, Diamond is only found between 16 and 10 on the y-axis? Damn, I've been looking way too low. (I'm at the adminium layer).
