Minecraft, awesome one man game project

I'll be honest. Recently I played through Brutal Legend, and now I'm absorbed in Puzzle Quest. I login once every few days to make sure the server is still running, etc. But I never stick around for more than 5-10 minutes. No time it would seem.

phase two will have a larger impact on how you play. Some time next month another update will appear that means the last bed you slept in will be your new respawn point.

Finally, an actual reason for all those furnished houses we keep building all over the place.

Supposedly a "food meter" is coming, too.

So maybe all of my tunnels will be rendered obsolete by beds, but at least my wheat farm might become more useful.

Minecraft Beta 1.3

* Implemented a new lighting engine with the help of MrMessiahs (can be turned off)
* Changed the options around, added a new “Graphics options” button
* Added beds. If all players in a map sleeps in a bed during night, the game immediately skips until morning
* Added three new half-size blocks
* Added Delay/Repeater redstone dust blocks
* Added whitelisting to the server. To use, enter “whitelist <cmd>” where cmd is “on”, “off”, “add <player>”, “remove <player>”, “list” or “reload”
* New save file format, old maps need to be converted (that might take a while..)
* It’s now possible to have more than five save slots, and to rename saves
* Scrollbars in both the texture pack list, and in the map selection screen
* Replaced the Mojang splash image to reflect the new logo colors
* .. and a bunch of bug fixes and tweaks!

Server is updating the maps now. Will take several hours.

Once it does, the system should be up and running with beta.1.3.

smp server is back up. But will be sluggish until creative server is finished reformatting the savefile.

But I liked the natural ones.

I've built at least 3 houses overlooking them because the view is awesome at night.

Wood no longer burns forever. That means all of our fireplaces don't work either.

Need to get the nether running in SMP so we can farm some netherstone. That stuff should still burn forever.
