I'm also missing rocket boots now that I think about it, but when I heard they got nerfed in the previous update I didn't worry about them so much anymore.


I've only had one invasion in somewhere around 30 hours of play.

I'm bummed because I built death pits lined with hellstone brick at both ends of my "hotel" just for red moons and goblin invasions.

It is definitely possible the meteor hit a flying city. You also can't spawn a new meteor until the first one is fully mined.

ALSO, the rocket boots definitely did not get nerfed in my eyes, they just don't use mana anymore, which actually makes them useful to me.

I kind of liked the first one, though I did the bare minimum to get through the game. AC2 is like 1000000x better, and I'm really bummed that I have to start over again because stuff was getting real interesting.

That is good to hear. I have the first one on my PC..and quite frankly hated the mouse/keyboard controls. Then I read that ACII really was quite an improvement over the first. So I've watched the youtube cut scenes for ACI, and am eagerly waiting for ACII.

I really can't imagine playing any of the Assassin's Creed games with a mouse/keyboard.

So just buy the adapter and use the xbox controller with the PC. problem solved. You get a controller, but didn't have to buy one specifically for PC.

I can't imagine playing a console when a PC is at this point a much better graphical experience. I know gfx don't really matter but when games are exactly the same except for PC versions being able to run at a higher resolution, higher framerate why would you choose console?

Don't get me wrong i'm no console hater, I have a PS3 and a 360 with a gold account and I wouldn't have it any other way but right now the PC experience is much much better.

i didn't know there was a wireless adapter that I could plug into my pc. I'll definitely research that.

I thought I remembered hearing that the flight time was dropped by a lot.

They used to drain your mana to power the boots, now they have a limited boost that recharges as soon as you touch down. As someone who did not have a billion mana, the boots were not very useful to me before this change.

I'll amend my previous post about 1 goblin invasion in ~30 hours to 1 goblin invasion in ~42 hours.

I beat From Dust a few days ago. It was a really good game. I wish it had more maps though. I think it took only 4-5 hours to beat. I love the mechanics of the game. Give me more!!

Fired up Terraria earlier. Had 3 maps that I ran from one end to the other and didn't see a single goblin scout. Lost all interest.

Just beat Dragon Age 2.

I really liked it, even with all its faults. The story was excellent.
