    Boardgames fans

I read on nohighscore.com that a WW2 monster game similar to space hulk is on sale from 50 to 15.

I might pick this up and figured others might be interested. It's from a small outfit so I'm also curious if anyone has heard of it and has thoughts on how well it plays. I found some reviews on line which were positive and I always wanted space hulk, but missed out in the last re-release.

Went ahead and grabbed a base copy. Saw they had minis but i can't justify buying them given my lack of space and recent spending spree on new computer hardware.

Excited to try this out when it arrives!

    Obligatory BGG link: http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/40603/incursion

Looks pretty solid and I love me some Space Hulk. Unfortunately it only fits 2 players, but for $15 I have no problem adding it to my collection.

The expansion includes additional 2 player games and introduces single player games and a single 3 player game.

I'm a bit unclear how that works. Does 2 players mean only 2 people actually play or is their a DM playing with 2 players. Does single player mean you actually just play by yourself or with one other person.

    AM I MAKING SENSE!?!!?!?!

    It's not a co-operative game, 2p means 1v1.

The single player game in the expansion sounds like it has "AI" controlling the opposing faction; scenarios likely just tell the player how enemy units move from turn-to-turn and it would be up to the player to figure out how to get through things alive.

Found this review that seems to do a good job describing the feel of the game: http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/5399...-hit-the-floor
And this one that puts a heavy emphasis on the Space Hulk comparison: http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/495404/we-got-zeds

Did you buy the expansion? i'm going to wait since I think they will release a second one and i figure they might have a sale for both. I'd also like to try the game first before purchasing more for it.

Nah, I'm going to see if I actually like the base game before buying any expansions.

I was tmpeted but decided to hold off. Everything I hear rates this slightly better to on par with Space Hulk, but I've never played Space Hulk so I have no idea what I'm in for.

The sale is until the 16th or whenever they run out so there is time to scout reviews if your unsure. The minis you can buy separately look freaking awesome but I lack painting skills and room.

Wow, those are nice looking figures and metal as well. Kind of pricey though for me.

This came in over the weekend, I didn't get a chance to look over every little thing but the components seem pretty nice.

Mine came in a while back as well, but football season crushes my board game time.

Got mine a few days back. Looks pretty solid. Went over the rule book quickly and the game sounds promising. Sadly, I have no one to play with yet.
