I really like the Lions and Green Bay. Sucks they are both in the same division. Oh well thye will both probly make the playoffs. Was really hoping to see them both undefeated heading into their thanksgiving day match!
Sad to say I am a Rams fan first and foremost. Thought they would actually win the division pretty easily this year. Boy was most of the ESPN announcers and I wrong. Rams recievers can't catch a freakin pass if their life depended on it. Atleast we just picked up Brandon Lloyd and have mark clayton returning to help out Denario Alexander.
Atleast my fantasy team is in 1st in my division and 1st in scoring in my league
QB- Aaron Rodgers
RB#1- Fred Jackson
RB#2- Shawn Greene/Marshawn Lynch/Brandon Jacobs
WR#1- Greg Jennings
WR#2- Mike Wallace
WR#3- Plaxico Burress/David Nelson/Erick Decker(now a #1 in Denver!)
TE- Tony Ganzalez.Greg Olsen
K- Lions
DE- Lions

What you gonna do?!?
I'm a lions fan through and through but I fear that if we keep winning games we should lose it will hurt us in the long run by moving us too far down the draft board. We have a good young nucleolus however we still have giant holes that can be filled via draft.

It doesn't matter where we are in the draft there are always quality players in the first couple of rounds. They need cornerbacks and offensive linemen. We also need a proper running back. Best is borderline useless. I guess once Leshoure comes back we can see how he does but I want the Lions to actually be able to run the ball effectively. I suppose a better offensive line would help Best move around.
But I'd rather see the Lions win the superbowl and get the worst draft pick than worry about them getting a high pick. We've had way too many years of that.

That's silly, I think you're brainwashed by losing too much, the team is 5-1 and you're worried about a draft pick? What kind of this is that to say?
You don't need a top 10 pick every year to have a good team. The lions proved that's not the way to gaurantee a winning team. The liions had top 10 picks from 02 - 07, not to mention drafting 3 receivers #1 that aren't even in the league anymore, well Mike Williams is on the seahawks, but he can't even be considered a decent receiver. How many more high draft picks do they need? You just need a competent GM, which Matt Millen was not.

Thought that the Lions got Ronnie Brown. But it looks like the trade got nixed because one of the other players involved in the trade failed a physical.
Brown is a decent back.

Don't look now, but Eli Manning may be becoming an elite NFL QB. So sez this guy:

I just remember a few years back on this thread where there was so much hate for Eli.

I like eli, but he is inconsistent when it comes to fantasy. I'm worried about the rest of the season though. The giants have started 5-2 every year under couglin, then they fizzle in the second half. They haven't been playing great teams thus far either.

The year they won the Superbowl he got hot for the playoffs. He will come back down to earth and start turning the ball over more frequently, as he has done for his entire career.

What do you guys think of the Broncos right now? Pretty crazy 3 straight wins, and the sad thing that (being a Bronco fan) I am NOT happy about it. I can't stand this Tebow thing and I am sick of it. How the hell do you play 55 minutes of the worst football anyone can play yet still keep winning? I get to the point I don't want to watch the game anymore and then BAM awesomeness. Kudos to the defense those guys are doing great.

I think it is great. People hate on him cause he is happy and thankful ( at least in the public eye ) and it pisses people off cause since they are miserable everyone needs to be miserable and it makes me laugh. I say go broncos and have that train wreck of a qb at the helm lol. I loved that game lastnight.
I really do like tebow, I think he is a great kid. He is a terrible passer but who cares, everyone keeps getting caught up in stats but he is what 4-1. Thats the only stat that matters.

shootier than yours
I think it's great too, Seattle needs a QB and there are already at least two even worse teams looking to draft one. No need to add Denver to the mix as well.

Oh believe me I don't hate the guy he is awesome. I just don't like him on my team that's all. I don't watch much college football so this new system is really different for me to get used to. And it is only productive one drive per game. Just frustrating to watch. BUT it is winning games somehow so its good for now.

I am hoping for the Broncos to make the playoffs. I am sick of hearing everyone say how this can't work in the NFL, etc. Meanwhile, its worked 4 out of 5 times. I really want to see a team commit 100% to an offense like this, get a real option tailback, some blocking tight ends and real wingbacks. If someone gave it a year or 2 I bet it would work a lot better than the ESPN and NFL network talking heads say it would.
