The good thing about the Sharky server used to be that we were such a small community you could trust everybody.

This has changed for me now, after the second time my rubble room has been vandalized and after I logged in to find ~60 iron and 19 diamonds missing from my house.

That's pretty retarded. It should be understood that stuff in someone's room is their stuff!

You should build a pit trap to capture this person.

Bit of a weird issue on the map with signs. This one that I put up doesn't show up as a marker on the map, though you can see its geometry on the landscape -

And another one I made shows up just fine but I can't click it to see what it says.

...though on further inspection they only appear to have this problem in the new area I explored. The old signs are fine. This will probably just fix itself on the next update.

Well hell, I didn't realize we weren't on the new server yet. Wouldn't have gone off exploring if I had.

New server should be live end of the week. Case arrives Thursday, then I need to find a time to get it installed in the DC.

Minecraft server will be down for most of today. Shutting it down to do the final rsync before cutover. I won't bring it back up until the new server is in place. Most likely late this afternoon EST.

Nah, for now, same map. We were going to start a new one once the new release comes out. This should just mean the current map is a bit faster.

For now you're OK. Just keep in mind your exploring has single handedly ballooned the map size from around 1.2GB to over 2GB in one day.

Pssh. I got 2GB of storage as the prize in a cereal box the other day and threw it away.
