Haven't seen many people logging on lately. I know some are waiting for 1.9 to drop - we're not starting a new map then are we? My friends and I have been working pretty hard on the castle & that general area.

I'd like to know the "official" answer to this as well. I don't want to start on anything big right now if it's only going to last a few days.

(P.S. 1.0rc is supposed to be out today.)

    It's up to people.
Doesn't seem like a lot of people are interested in a new map. I'm fine either way.

How does the new server feel about concurrent maps?

Well, between railways and the nice portal system, exploring new area post-1.9 should be pretty easy. I don't really see a need for a new map. But then again, having put SO much work in on this one, I'm kinda biased.

*edit* I am against concurrent maps. We have a hard enough time getting numbers on the current, single map. It should be stick with the current map or start a new one.

I never log on anymore, but I still want to create a giant Nyancat that you can see from space and I say stick with the current map.

We had a nicer railway in the previous map than anything we have now.

I'm OK with the current map. Dungeon Defenders has my interest right now, so I haven't logged in at all really. As for the server, it should handle concurrent maps without issue.

I would like to keep the current map as long as there aren't annoying quirks, like the villagers finally appearing and burning down the towns because we moved their stuff around.

Okay actually that would be pretty cool in its own way, too.
