If you plan on playing multiplayer, you'll want to install Retribution. While DoW 2 and Chaos Rising were cross-compatible, Retribution is not. They moved the whole network infrastructure off of GFWL and onto Steam and that is where most of the community moved as well.

If you want to play campaign and you want to follow the story, you'll want to play DoW 2 and then import your save into Chaos Rising to continue.

How are you guys doing on achievements? I've gotten 19 so far, I'm looking to get 20 after psychonauts is finished downloading. I haven't gotten much good stuff yet. Just coupons for games I already have and Abe's Oddworld bundle.

picked up binding of isaac($1) and gemini rue($5) today

i have so many games on steam i have yet to complete, that i cannot not justify anything above $5 during sale events.............main reason is by next year those same games will be $2.49

Debating what I should do with my coal.

Up to 8 so far. Could get another present or have 8 shots at the big drawing.

So far I've won 33% off Valve game (own them all), 50% off Lightfish and Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes (no interest in either), 50% off L4D2 (see Valve above), 50% off Super Meat Boy (got it in a Humble Bundle), and World of Goo (already have it)

So 1 tiny shot at a game I actually would play, or 8 microscopic shots at a big prize.

Just to warn you, crafting coal can also get you more coupons.

Crafting my coal gave me 33% off FootballManager 2012 ;(
