The funny thing is that these people think Blizzard owe them something extra because they decided to skip work and their plans didn't quite work out.
Blast Corp is such a great game.

Word through the grapevine is there are some serious corruption issues going on. First they thought it was a latency issue, now they aren't sure. Server and client are getting out of sync for some reason.

Hard to judge the validity of this, but it seems reasonable. I'm guessing it's a database bottleneck somewhere. It's always a database issue.

I wouldn't believe any ETA right now. They aren't going to risk having to do a rollback on Day 3. The only thing worse than having to take the servers down on Day 1 is having to rollback to Day 1 on Day 3.

None of the options on the Battle.net website to let me add the game to my account seem to be working. Wonderful.

The giantbomb quicklook is hilarious. They try to play D3, but get all kinds of errors then they try SCII but its down so they fire up Diablo 2 and play that for awhile. Still playing D2 on D3 launch day.

Well, I got this sucker working on my POS MacBook with a GF 320M. It struggles at like 720p resolution even with everything set to low.

It's killing me inside, because I don't want to shell out $1k for a new desktop rig, but the only two notebooks I want aren't out yet—the next MacBook Pro/Air or the new Lenovo X1 Carbon.

Will probably be on tonight or tomorrow. Gonna go Wizard I think.

I work for EA, but don't care for a lot of their pricing models, so I don't play their games anymore. My life has yet to collapse as a consequence. D3 servers are probably going to be wonky for a few days, so I might just wait, instead of spending money now and getting pissed off about it when I full well know exactly what's going on.
reading some of the posts on gaming forums on the release day of any big game or console makes me think less of humanity... the more advanced our civilization gets, the more our priorities shift to meaningless things

Played for about an hour and a half tonight (monk). Good times were had but it was kinda laggy, got bad in a couple spots. Definitely going to enjoy this once the server issues are cleared up.

Uh oh I had some somewhat negative comments about the first day of a new release. I think I'd better go create a thread on the Blizzard boards about the lag and then give the game 1 star on Amazon.

The Intel HD 3000 is actually faster than the GF 320M.

Was she running it at 1280x800?

Played for an hour or so, took a break for a while, then started playing again and just got disconnected. I lost at least one level and a couple of good magic items I JUST found (can tell from character select screen), though luckily I'm still only level 7 so it's nothing too bad that I lost.

My barbarian looked badass with those dual sickles, though.

I had to work a little later tonight, which is just bad timing, but I got a couple of hours in, now the servers are down. Probably for the best since I should be in bed now!

I played the closed beta, and then when I started the real game I had the worst luck at finding where I needed to go, couldn't find the 2nd level until i searched the entire map etc. kinda funny considering how much I played the beta.

I'm only lvl 9, jealous of you higher people, enjoy!
