Transfering Windows 7 Firefox profile to Mac OS X Firefox profile?

Hey all, normally I'm a guru at this sort of thing. But now you can't replace profile folder items by dragging and dropping them anymore, if you do it even with Firefox closed you won't be be transfering anything, the profile just stays the same as before now. Is there a program that will allow me to transfer a Firefox profile from Windows to Mac?, Mozbackup is only for Windows...

Hmm.... Are you talking about the /users/voodoochild16/appdata/roaming/mozilla/.<randomcharacters>/ folder?

Between linux and Mac you can easily sync. I'll have to try Windows when I get back to my system tonight.

I know you can export the favorites and import it from the other end... there isn't one similar to that for profiles?

EDIT: I noticed that under "Options", there is "Sync" option... have you tried that?

I have tried sync before but does it replace everything onto the secondary Firefox profile on the other end?.

Well as it turns out, it synced and I just didn't understand how it worked. According to this link:
    http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-firefox-sync
All your bookmarks, passwords, everything is stored on Mozilla's servers so that even on your main computer where you have your main firefox profile, anything you do on your other computer with the same profile synced, will change your profile on the servers so it shows up on your main computer aswell. No one can see any of your bookmarks on the servers, not even Mozilla. Pretty cool, and that answered my question. Thank you guys!.
