I've been using that almost since day 1. Love it. Here's a post on NeoGAF that has a few other good tips as well -

Some notes from my game-athon yesterday (took the day off work).

    Rebind your keys!!

ASDF for skills instead of 1234 and Space instead of shift for standing still. Man that makes the game like 1000 times more comfortable to play.

Bind the "Move" command to middle mouse button! It's unbound by default. It allows you to move without attacking anything. An absolute must for when you need to immediately wade through a big group of baddies to pick up a health globe. If you were to left click to move to the globe, you'd most likely accidentally attack something and not get the globe in time.

Turn on Elective mode! It should have been on by default. For those that don't know it allows you to put any skill on any of your 4 hotkeys... even two from the same category.

For example having both Ground Stomp and Leap from the defensive category on my barb. That combo is very very powerful. Jump into the middle of a group with Leap, Ground Stomp to Stun everyone then I use Cleave with the exploding enemies perk and everyone dies very very fast.

I've found the best way to attack for my Barb is to just hold down the left click then tap space bar to swing my sword. With the range and slowness of a two handed sword I can time the start of my swing before the mobs are within range and hit them just as they enter, before they can hit me.

Nice!! Didn't know that! I'm only at Lvl. 9 after about 2 hours of playing ... so those two things (key binding and Elective Mode) will make things very interesting!

    My tag is Monroeski#1704.

I'm somewhere around level 17 and am still in the first act. I have been told this means I'm slow as hell.

That doesn't mean you're slow at all! Now if you told me you'd been playing for 5 hours and was still in Act 1, that would be a different story.

I'll check my time when I get home but 5 hours is probably about right.

Sounds like me. I have to explore every inch of the map though.

    I do the same. XD

I think I'm at 13 hours in and just starting Act IV.

I figured I'd do all my exploring once I reach Hell or Inferno. I think I would burn out too fast if I explored everything right away in Normal.

I'm kind of the opposite. I'm exploring everything now so on future playthroughs/difficulties I won't mind skipping straight through as much.

I dunno. I just figured since they said most good loot will be found from the blue elite guys (Champions?), I'd rather do all my exploring when the loot is the best. Heard something about boss mobs only dropping yellow loot the first time you kill them.

Champions and Elites are supposed to have the best drop rates, but everything has a chance of dropping rares and legendaries, including bosses and basic white mobs/chests.

Blizzard has also said that legendaries (orange loot) are not necessarily the best things you can get due to the variance in abilities. It's entirely possible that a rare (yellow loot) is superior to a legendary at the same level.
