Also, I have to play at a retardedly small resolution so it doesn't lag horribly. I just know you sat there in the gas and didn't die somehow.
It's pretty hard to die in anything but Inferno, lol. You have to try really hard.

People keep saying this, and I guess I suck, but I die…A LOT. I'm only in Nightmare. Sometimes I'll die like 4x in a row.

I strongly believe this to only be true if you are two of the following things:

    A. A Monk.
    B. A Barbarian.
    C. Heavily kitted out thanks to the AH.

I'm almost through Act 3 on Nightmare and there are definitely big bad scary champ mobs out there that kill me if I'm not careful and regularly kill my squishier friends.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with using tools that are there for you. I'm not saying how to play the game, but if you're dying a lot, it's because your gear isn't up to par, not because Diablo 3 is a hard game to play. It isn't.

I duhno, certain mobs just demolish me. Even on normal I had a lot of trouble killing Belial solo. Couldn't seem to avoid getting hit with his AOE bombs.

Could just be that I suck. Very possible.

We'll blame the lag of your macbook with it's subpar graphics.

I never said there was anything wrong with using the AH. I am only using it to sell right now and when I hit Inferno, I'm sure I'll be using it to buy as well. I was using it for gems previously since it is so insanely cost-ineffective to combine gems, but since the commodity auctions have been down for over a week, I haven't been buying anything.

100% false - it's incredibly easy to die anywhere past act 1 in hell difficulty if you aren't ready to run into a seriously bad-*** group of champions. I was coasting the game with my wizard using diamond skin and doing ridiculous damage, but once I hit that point, certain champion groups starting blowing right through diamond skin in less than a second.

As a point of reference - a barb in my group that rarely ever died prior to hell difficulty is now getting whacked an average of 2 times an act. And he has something like 50k life and pretty good defense. Granted, on anything other than those mobs, he seems pretty much invulnerable.

Me personally... I play a ridiculously offensive style with my wizard that will probably see me dying 50 times an act in Inferno. But with tons of life and almost 40k DPS, I haven't really had to slow down yet.

Past nightmare, the act bosses are actually a lot easier than champion mobs. I killed Azmodan in hell pretty much by myself in about 10-15 seconds... in a 3 player game.

Awesome group last night with Kama and some of his buddies. Gotta roll a Barb now after watching him tear **** up.
What level are you guys now? I'd like to jump in with my DH if it's cool (think she's 45). I don't have her outfitted for mega-DPS, but she does have like 125% magic find.

Is it really worth it sell on AH? Haven't used it at all really. Spent 3 min looking it over but I've just been selling to the merchants.
If we hit that bull's eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

It's better than the merchants for sure. I haven't really been checking comparable equipment prices when I make my sales so I'm probably greatly undercutting everyone, but I've been selling equipment for 3k gold.

I'm level 48 right now, so sure!

I haven't touched the auction house and I'm playing totally solo (barbarian) and I've died a fair number of times just in normal. Belial in particular killed me 5 or 6 times, seemed to be basically one shotting me with his AOE attack.
